Gomez
 Formed in 1996, Gomez introduced a new sound to British rock music, with their highly original debut album Bring It On. Backed by standout tracks such as Whippin' Picadilly, 78 Stone Wobble and Get Myself Arrested the album won the prestigious Mercury Music Prize in 1998, ahead of groups like Massive Attack and The Verve. Since then they have released the albums, Liquid Skin, In Our Gun and Split the Difference along with the rarities and B-sides compilation Abandoned Shopping Trolley Hotline. With their distinctive sound and acclaimed live shows, Gomez remain one of Britain's most exciting rock bands. |
